I do these every year. It keeps me honest. So how did I do this year?

  1. Be in better shape than I am now
    Fail. But not by much.
  2. Pass my departmental prelim
    Success! And… Success!!
  3. Contact friends and family every month
    Fail. This is hard.
  4. Do something creative
    Success! I have now written a screenplay treatment. As soon as I send it out to an agent, I’ll post it here for your comments. Deal? 🙂
  5. … I need a fifth resolution here. Perhaps something involving sexy lady types. :)
    Success! I have been dating my lady friend for 6 months now. That’s… something, right?
