It’s my golden birthday right now.
Hard to be more meaningful than that. I was born 29 years ago right now on May 29, 1985.
Snapshot of my life: I am moving out of my lovely house to move in with my girlfriend over the summer. Then, in August, I’m moving to Halifax, NS to start a postdoc. I’m done with my dissertation (or at least a draft of it), but have yet to schedule a defense because I’m afraid of it. I’ve been rejected from a lot of publications and I feel like my friend circle is getting shorter and shorter every day. But– I finally have a real job and I’ll be able to go to a new place and start over. So… there’s that.
