Bastille Day

Blog Profile: Tanny MC

I’ve decided to quote-mine the Internet. My theory is that there are some awesome people writing wonderful things out there that nobody has heard of or read. So I’ve started a new series aimed at finding funny and smart people I’ve never heard of before. I am doing this purely out of my own project-of-the-week desire and to hopefully promote interactions between the best unknown bloggers out there that they may become known.

My first choice is Megan or Tanny MC from Myspace. I’m particularly impressed, because of my long-standing challenge to women everywhere to be more funny.

you cannot be a cool new person if your profile is set to private. that defeats the purpose. i’m just supposed to believe you are cool because tom says so? i don’t think so. these people are trying to leave me wanting more, but in reality i want less, much less.

speaking of private profiles, the worst thing is when you are trying to stalk the guy you like’s former girlfriend, but her profile is set to private. this is infuriating!

now, one of my exboyfriends has myspace, and i basically leave my profile un-private so that whoever he dates has full access to me. that’s how nice i am.

ah, but back to my point. myspace is for stalking and private profiles are not conducive to that. men, please call your ex’s and ask them to deprivatize their myspaces for the good of all mankind.

Update (25/8/2007):  She has made her profile private.  Ha ha, I get it…  Even if she doesn’t.
Rules for selection follow before the fold

  1. I must not know or have prior contact with the blogger in each profile.
  2. The blogger must average less than two comments per post.
  3. The blogger must have a public blog.
  4. The blog must be worthwhile.
  5. The crow flies at midnight.

There we go. Tune in next week for the next profile. Hopefully good bloggers won’t be hard to find. I know they’re out there, but I just don’t know how to access them.

  1. I love this lady. Private profiles are not conducive to sleuthing and making fun of blown out images, in which all facial have become obsolete.
