Quite simply the worst bluff… ever.

There are reasons to like this clown. He’s got gumption. Most people don’t try to take on the Batman. (This statement is factually false. Everyone and their grandmother seems to want to take on the Batman.)  … or is it just “Batman?”

… His choice, I guess.

Anyway. Think back to Batman Returns. At the very beginning there is a scene in which Michelle Pfeiffer as Selina Kyle is held hostage with a taser by an industrious clown.

All par for the course in Batman’s life, I guess. But here’s something that just started bothering me about this scene. It doesn’t affect the movie plot at all, but this scene bothers me and– DAMN IT– it’s going to bother you, too.

What kind of a moron holds on to a person and threatens to electrocute them to death? Electricity doesn’t stop at the hostage. It would go on to kill or maim him too.

… moron.
