I’m such an arse

I go insane. Every time I try to spell something that ends with ‘-er‘ or ‘-re‘ or ‘-or‘ or ‘-our‘ or ‘-ise‘ or ‘-ize‘ or ‘-ce‘ or ‘-se‘ or ‘-xion‘ or ‘-ction‘ or any of the other hundred-odd variations in English, I go insane.

I’ve just grown too used to my Zeds and C’s in my words. I hate excess letters (hence why I’m creating my own language), so the ‘u‘ in colour is out.
Hek, I’d tak out al of the exes leters al together, but then pepl mit hav som trubl reding this (apart from it looking stupid).

Wow. I wasn’t trying to write in 1337, either.

I wish English were more like Spanish or Japanese. These unpronounced letters drive me up the wall. Spelling should be phonetic, damn it. That’s how my language is going to be.

Some people might have noticed my alternating between British and American spelling over the past few months. If it was confusing to you, it was insanity for me. But now I’m done. I’m going to go back to spelling things in the way that looks ‘right’ to me and, sadly, it’s American.

Except for the r‘s before the e‘s in theatre and centre. That’s just cool.
